Combating Infections in Children

The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases offers inpatient and outpatient treatment for a wide range of infections in newborns, children and adolescents. Physicians and nurses take pride in providing compassionate care, ensuring that infections are immediately detected, and educating families and caregivers about diagnoses and treatment recommendations.

Clinical Services

  • Persistent or recurrent fevers
  • Congenital infections in newborns
  • Infections from antibiotic resistant bacteria
  • Complicated pneumonia and strep throat
  • Infections in children who are immunocompromised
  • Bone and joint, bloodstream, and fungal and skin infections
