Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program

The SSM Health/Saint Louis University School of Medicine Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program provides comprehensive radiology training in a subspecialized academic setting. The four-year program is available to trainees who have completed one year of postgraduate training.

A Message From Program Leadership

Welcome to the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program.

We offer a rigorous, fully-accredited training experience grounded in clinical excellence, patient safety and progressive responsibility. Our residents develop the expertise to interpret imaging across all modalities and perform image-guided procedures with confidence.

Through personalized mentorship and hands-on learning, we prepare residents for independent practice, leadership and innovation — especially in emerging fields like artifical intelligence. Face-to-face interaction and graded responsibility ensure a supportive, challenging environment where residents thrive.

We're proud to train radiologists who lead with skill, compassion and vision.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
