Section of Hospital Medicine

The Saint Louis University Hospital Medicine Section has consistently grown since 2015. SLU has a dynamic group of distinctive physicians and advanced practice providers with outstanding clinical and academic skills.

Hospitalists care for patients admitted to SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital on the general medicine service and for patients on the general medicine consult service. We provide our patients with the highest medical care at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. In addition to clinical work, the section focuses on excellence in education and quality improvement.

Our faculty members are leaders at the highest levels within their practices as well as leaders within the SLU School of Medicine. Our attention to service and upholding the Jesuit mission is seen in our daily work with patients and the education of our internal medicine residents and medical students.
